Peanut butter protein balls
INGREDIENTS Time: 15 Minutes
- 2 1/2 Cups Gluten Free Oatmeal
- 7 Tablespoons Ground Flaxseed
- 5 Scoops of Visalus Vanilla Crème Protein Mix
- 2/3 Cup of Local Honey or Organic Blue Agave Syrup
- 1 Cup Peanut Butter
- 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Line a plate or baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix oatmeal, flaxseed, and protein mix in a medium bowl into a dry mixture.
3. Mix honey or agave syrup, peanut butter, and vanilla extract together in a medium bowl into a wet mixture.
4. Mix (by hand) dry mixture and wet mixture until fully combined.
5. Batter should be a little sticky. Let sit for a few minutes to firm up if needed.
6. Spoon into bite size drops, then roll with hands until you form small balls.
7. Place on baking sheet. If needed, wet hands with some water to help with sticking. Repeat with remaining mixture.
8. Place in fridge for 1-2 hours until firm. Or freeze until ready to enjoy.
